What is a Smart Water Meter?
A Smart Water Meter is a water meter connected to a device that allows the continuous electronic reading and display of water consumption data back to your PC.
Who needs a Smart Water Meter?
Anybody interested in their water consumption. Seeing consumption on line in real time enables you to:
- Understand where, when, how and why water is used, providing facts rather than guesswork. This is essential when assessing any water conservation scheme
- Identify and address leaks as soon as they occur – not months later after a few expensive bills
- Actively manage your water consumption – the cornerstone upon which any modern water conservation scheme should be built.
What does it look like?
Our secure web site lets you view a detailed profile of your water consumption. You can even compare similar periods or different meters. You can view detailed consumption patterns, daily, weekly or monthly summaries.

What about Sub-Metering?
Typically one water meter records the entire water consumption, even at large sites. Installing individual meters at high use areas like cooling towers, food preparation, amenities, irrigation or the water supply from a rainwater tank shows where the water goes and comes from. Adding a smart metering capability provides the base for a sound water management system.
